Welcome to the ESONET Sensor Registry interface

The Sensor Registry Interface enables the registration of marine sensors and instruments in SensorML for the European Seas Observatory Network ESONET. By registering sensors, the provided information becomes discoverable from the ESONET data portal and related catalog services. Encoding standard is the OpenGIS Sensor Model Language (SensorML 1.0.0), a GEOSS standard for sensor metadata. It is strongly advised to use the sensor registration form to create the initial file to ensure compliance with SensorML schema and ESONET minimal requirements, as well as the smooth use of the other interface functionalities.

This is an open beta release. As we are continuously updating the interface, some functions may not be available or functional momentarily. Please report any problem to esonet [at] dbscale.com .

The Sensor Registry is operated by dBscale Sensing Technologies, sensor instances are currently stored on a WDC-MARE server.
